Beads and that's about it

The other day I looked the calendar the other day and discover there is only about 4 months left in the year. Time so much yet so little. I wanted to focus on just beads for this year and worry about the other stuff later, there's no plans to return to mail art just yet because in June I suddenly decided to continue with my rpgmaker project which was left unfinished in 2006/7. Since I spend most of day on my game and crafting in the evening I can't do anything which requires some kind of machinery like a sewing machine.
I have all these different colours but none of seem to match and they tend to dark with numerous finishes. Some people tend to buy horrid acrylic jewellery I rather make my own because generally I don't buy items which I can make myself but sooner or later I have to part with them to save space and the notion of making money from my art. The majority of my work ends up in a boxes because there seems to be no space for me to hang my work. When I do my cross stitch sampler I will demand a space.
I created this from pendant kit from the Beadery, plastic beads again. Hand made is so much better than machine made or those created in slave labour conditions. When an object is handmade it is also filled with person's heart and soul.
I finally finished my amulet bag, this one can't be worn because the height is too big and there's no point making the strap too long. More details and pictures on this work in my docraft gallery. I reclaimed the majority beads from old project. Only made 3/4 amulet bags so far as they take ages, you need go around twice to complete one row. I prefer to use brickwork or square stitch.
I'm annoyed that some people buying things and then discard them, treat it like doesn't matter. It does matter in fact for the environment and money. Yesterday I was going to throw my paper layer bird because the paint is chipped off and there's no way of repainting as my old acrylic were lost 5 years ago. (I'm never going to let anyone borrow my stuff again, too much of things haven't been returned). So I decided to add more layer and then try to paint over. There's ongoing battle with perfectionism and finding things to work something it will 'click' other times I feel blocked and nothing is working. Just need some inspirations that's all.
