2 hamster- Roger and Rafa

I know this is a bit late, since Cherry died 2 more hamsters were brought to replace her. At first I was angry at other people inconsideration for life and because these two meant for someone else but now they are for everyone and grown to like them. These Roborovski are so cute, these type of hamster are found in the Gobi desert from Mongolia to Northern China. May of been featured in Wild China nature BBC program I not entirely sure. First discovered in 1984 but weren't studied until much later, imported to London Zoo and rest is just history. For some reason some sites states these are a rare breed like Chinese Dwarf. In Pets at Home store where Cherry and these two were brought, there were loads plus Syrian, Russian and possibly Campbell mainly dwarf hamsters were stocked. When I first thought of hamsters, I think of Hamtaro and large Golden types.
Meet Roger and Rafa, they used to called Summer and Sakura until I discovered one morning after the cage were cleaned they were both males!. Pets at home mis-sold the people who brought them as females. Erm females don't have parts which stick out and a pair of testes, also with Roborovski there is yellow scent marking where the belly button is. These hamsters are very fast and difficult to caught, although seem to easier to catch them now they are older or in the morning. I'm a little nervous at handling them because of their speed, I think I have gotten over this fear.

Roger is hyper, known as the 'naughty one'. He starts off fights and is the first to eat.
Rafa is timid, tends to hide in the house or tunnel. (Both named after Top tennis players.)
Their favourite foods are Pak Choi, banana chips, sunflower seeds and peanuts.

The two behave differently every day, I have been noticing they are fighting and all started the day after my cousins came over. They have a hamster too, I suspect it's a larger one as they have been bitten. My Roborovski has never bitten me, only if I let them bite my finger. Well, one of them has bitten my sister twice, she placed food on her hand and place it in the cage. They gone for hand rather than the food. I did the same thing, the hamster nervously took the food. They are used to me because I cleaned their cage, house and give them food everyday because other people are too busy or don't do it properly. The wheel must be cleaned because they poo and wee on it. The two always mess up the wood shavings. Right now because of the fighting I'm worried and wonder what to do next. Yesterday, Rafa was sleeping never the water bottle which not a very good place to sleep near as the sprout tends to leak. I made him a house out of 4 loo rolls until another permanent one can be brought.

Even they are both sweet and cute, in the past it was wonder seeing their nose stick out the house whenever food dish was placed in the cage. This morning so far they are both in the house as the two love to snuggle close to each other when they sleep, Rafa is still very nervous when Roger is in the food dish. Every day is different.

Other pets I would like to have: mouse, rat, scorpion, cat (again) and a dragon (if it was possible, unless I like in Ankh-Morpork. A place in the Discworld novels).
