Pokemon Rumbled

>> Thursday, 11 March 2010

I don't normally post information of video games on this blog recently I purchase a card of 2000 wii points and decided to download a game from wii ware. Since we finally managed to connect the Wii to internet I downloaded some channels. Mainly because Final Fantasy XIII is out I don't have a PS3 and stuck on Okami trying to get pass the konohana shuffle. Yes, I could finish off all those RPGs and games yet to be completed but I want something fresh and exciting so I downloaded Pokemon Rumble.

Battle Royale in action-Just to let you know I am not a pokemon fan even though I have completed Red and Blue on the gameboy and have some pokemon merchandise. Only thing interesting because UK doesn't sell decent gashapon or phone straps.

The last C-Class Battle Royale opponent defeated- What I like about the game is it is multiplayer function however it can repetitive and frustrating at times there a missing pokemon not yet befriended in an area cleared 10 times already having another player means helps. Unlike previous games you acquire a new pokemon by fighting similar to Dragon quest/warrior monsters.
Bellsprout demonstrating its skill in spraying the lawn, Vine whip can directed by the direction key unfortunately it wasn't effective against the Rhydon at the end of the stage. Faint 3 times and its game over. We didn't have much strong pokemon except for plants. You avoid fainting by changing Pokemon which takes time, only in safe area because you have scroll though the list since all newly acquired are near the top.

There always a huge end of level boss surrounded by less evolution minon, for example Marowak is evolved from Cubone. Watch out for the bonerang. The game allows you take picture but it's a bit of juggle fighting and bring option menu up. I would rate Pokemon Rumble 8 of 10, there is some playable having additional players helps in classes beyond C.
Out of curiosity I was looking for Musclemen march recommended by Bad Fish but no currently available for EU area, maybe it was too shocking for European players. Brits can stiffy sometimes, taking the piss out of cultures different from their own.
In Hong Kong they kindly tell viewers not to get addicted to online games, be careful on social networking sites and acknowledge copyright (kind of ironic when there's a lot of fake brands brought in the markets). Here in the UK there is nothing, so not surprising to hear victims murdered by people they met on Facebook. This is one of the reasons I refuse to join and Twitter as well.
