Belated update: Zines from Misti-Ko

Given my limited time I can add a post once every fortnight or depending on how much mailart I do. These zines arrived a few weeks ago. It's based on a project "It's starts with a pencil" hosted by Misti-Ko a member nervousness.org. She sends a stamped atc in which 2 people decorates it before it is send back. I was thinking of making zines my own it's the thought of how to duplicated them because the quality of inkjet is't good and just about suitable for papercrafts.

I was given 3 zines.

Almost finished making 20 atcs set but why stop there. I managed to create an atc using old tickets and sweet wrappers and discovered the best way to fix waxy surface on to card is either sewing or eyelet.

I'm back with a new laptop.

I brought a Dell Inspiron N5030 laptop with Intel pentium 2.3hz dual core processor with 4 GB RAM on Windows 7 OS. Considerably more than my laptop the reason it broke down was the fact I tried to add 1GB module and caused several BSODs until I left the machine. Even when I add the old memory module back still didn't cure it. The moral of story is don't bother upgrading a old machine because it won't handle it.
Even so it I still had errors with new one when I tried to login to Window7, kept saying user profile services failed logon so I had to use system restore to time when it was working. Poo. A new account was created in case this problems happens again. (Hope not). For the price of my old machine I could of brought Alienware gaming laptop. This new laptop works fine on Grand Fantasia and graphics are much better.

Finally managed to acquire new Paintshop Pro X3 to edit some photos and there is quite a backlog to upload to my flickr photostream. I popped into Strapya world site and discovered there are slime keitai straps and also makie stickers. This could be in promotion of new Dragonquest game I-X on DS- Sentinels of the Sky. In saying this there an area in Toyko dedicated to DQ players because the game can be played wireless with other players. NO more leg tripping cables.

Only came in black which is ironic considering on Dell adverts laptops come in numerous candy colours. I added some Gold makie stickers for decoration. The surface is patterned with concentric circles which changes in the light. As soon as internet was enabled I downloaded Grand Fantasia and Dynasty Warriors Online now on Open Beta. I'm taking a break from gaming because MMOs are deliberated made to be hard to level. I hardly level much on DQ-IX costumes and gold are more easily obtainable.
